ENGLISH096/101 – College Prep Writing III/English Composition I Process

Resource Title:  ENGLISH096/101 – College Prep Writing III/English Composition I

Brief Description of Resource:  Information literacy planning for this combined course reflected the fact that these are pre-college students with minimal research and information literacy skills, who are also sufficiently skilled and motivated to complete a college-level English Composition I class. IL planning aligned closely with the course content: the instructor’s goal/premise is that students learn how to be close, critical readers, in order to become close, critical writers.
