Resource Title: Visual Media Copyright Basics Workshop
Brief Description of Resource: These are a series of scenario-driven workshop materials built for face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online use. Included are 10 scenarios in all and when used together they will get students thinking, talking, writing, and/or researching about copyright, fair use, public domain works, and work for hire.
The face-to-face version is intended to be printed out and cut up. They can then be distributed to students in groups of 3-4. Typically 5-10 minutes of discussion and online research in the classroom can be allotted, followed by each group making a case for their scenario.
The hybrid/online version calls for more teamwork-based activity using the same student groupings of 3-4 members.
